The Building

Fabric Hostel has been built in a fabulous building of the late 19^th century, it was an old fabric farm which had been closed for at least forty years. The building has been restored according to its original nature, trying to make it live in all the details connected to its own story and the meaning that it had for the town during the social and economical development of the 19^thcentury.

The building has got 4 floors; there are 13 shared rooms with common bathrooms and 7 private rooms with private bathroom with so many facilities and comforts to seem an hotel more than just an hostel. On the ground floor, there is a large common room (90 sq. m.) with many big pillows and sofas to chat and relax, Sat-TV, DVD/CD player, PCs with free internet access and musical instruments to arrange a jam session with other travelers.

The other hand of the building is the Club, you can reach it just passing by the reception. The Club is a very big place (140 sq. m.) where you can listen to live music in the weekends, find yourself in a theatre or dance happening, or where you can eat the food of our restaurant (with some special offers for the guests).

Last but not least, there are two gardens, a backyard (with some fruit trees) and a front yard at the entrance, just outside the reception... the ideal place to sunbathe during the day or relax under out orange trees in our warm springs and summers.

All the rooms are full of light, colored, and comfortable.

The hostel, whose restructuring has just been finished, has been built according to all the recent Italian and European security and eco compatibility standards. There is a lift and it’s handicap friendly, we do have proper rooms and bathrooms to make everybody feel at home.

The same facillities can be found in the nice winterly common room. It is a smaller common room, where you can easily get in touch with the other guests, it has a small loft with pillows and carpets and a big shelf full of guide books that you can freely use together with all the other facilities.
